YOUR EYES AND EARS BEYOND DISCHARGE
Once your patient leaves the surgical setting, Elite Concierge Nurses provides experienced clinical oversight within the recovery environment.
Our Registered Nurses observe, assess and document post-operative progress, reinforce surgeon-directed instructions, and communicate clinically significant changes through the established communication pathway.
We do not replace the surgeon or alter the prescribed plan of care. We provide the clinical presence that helps carry your post-operative plan beyond discharge.
CLINICAL COMMUNICATION & ESCALATION
Elite follows a defined escalation process when concerns arise during recovery.
Non-urgent clinical concerns are communicated to the surgeon or designated clinical contact through the established communication pathway.
Urgent concerns are escalated for appropriate medical assessment.
Emergency situations are immediately escalated to emergency services without delaying necessary care.
When a client is transferred to an Emergency Department, Elite provides relevant clinical information to support continuity of care and notifies the surgeon or designated clinical contact of the escalation and transfer.
SUPPORTING YOUR POST-OPERATIVE PLAN
Surgeon-directed instructions remain central to the client's recovery.
Within professional scope, our team reinforces the prescribed recovery plan, monitors post-operative progress and documents assessments, observations, interventions and significant changes throughout the recovery period.
For Ontario orthopedic, spine and other eligible surgical patients already receiving publicly funded home-care nursing, Elite can complement rather than unnecessarily duplicate those services.
For privately funded plastic and cosmetic surgery patients, Elite provides private-pay RN and PSW post-operative recovery support based on the procedure, surgeon's instructions and individual clinical needs.
